Meet the crew
Captain Marty
Captain Marty is a dedicated Gulf Shores fishing charter captain who is passionate about sharing the excitement of fishing along Alabama’s beautiful Gulf Coast. Born in Sylacauga, Alabama, he grew up fishing from a young age—what he calls “knee high to a grasshopper”—and developed a lifelong love for being on the water.
In 2018, Captain Marty made the move to the coast to pursue his dream of becoming a full-time fishing guide in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Today, he runs Addicted 2 Fishing Charters, specializing in inshore and nearshore fishing trips targeting popular local species like redfish, speckled trout, sheepshead, and more.
Known for his laid-back personality and hands-on approach, Captain Marty creates a fun, welcoming experience for anglers of all skill levels—from first-timers to seasoned fishermen. Whether you're visiting on vacation or a local looking to get on the water, he focuses on delivering family-friendly fishing charters that are both exciting and memorable.
When you book with Captain Marty, you’re not just booking a trip—you’re getting a true Gulf Coast fishing experience with a captain who genuinely loves what he does.
Captain Landan
Captain Landan is a lifelong South Alabama resident whose connection to fishing runs deep. He has worked in the fishing industry since 2018 and has been a captain since 2022, but his experience on the water began long before that. Growing up fishing the Gulf and Mobile Bay gave him a strong knowledge of our local waters, changing weather patterns, and the techniques that make for a successful day of fishing.
Known for his laid-back personality and passion for fishing, Captain Landan makes guests feel comfortable while staying focused on putting them on fish. He enjoys sharing his knowledge and adapting his approach to help anglers of all experience levels build confidence and enjoy their time on the water.
When you book with Captain Landan, you gain more than a fishing guide. You gain a patient teacher, a new friend, and a captain who is just as excited to catch fish as you are.
